AP: Dothan, Alabama is looking for a few good Jews. Larry Blumberg thinks that the small Alabama town of about 50,000 is a little too Christian-heavy for his liking, so he is offering Jewish people $50k to move there. The only catch is that you’d have to stay in Dothan for five years, which is almost a fate worse than death.
Washington Post: I’m always amazed at how enterprising people are at taking advantage of the stupidity of others. First it was bottle water, now a company is charging people $16 for bottles of “99 percent breathing oxygen.” First of all, it’s worth pointing out that these brain stems are paying $16 for something that they get for free, but it’s also important to note that breathing pure oxygen isn’t exactly the single most healthy thing you can do. It’s not going to kill you or anything, but your body definitely wants some nitrogen thrown in there too…
