Trib: When MLB rosters expanded yesterday one of the call-ups for the Cubs was catcher Koyie Hill. Cubs fans will remember Hill from last years division winning club as a fantastic defensive catcher who was something of a liability offensively. This year he is a bigger story though. Over the offseason, Hill had his right thumb and three fingers on his right hand sewn back on after nearly losing them completely in a table saw accident. Amazingly, Hill has come back to have a career year offensively at AAA Iowa, with 17 homers and 64 RBI. Not quite Geovany Soto-like numbers, but certainly impressive nonetheless.
PC Mag: Google has decided to enter the web browser game with “Google Chrome.” I’m a FireFox guy myself. With Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera and even more browsers out there, you may think that Google Chrome was a bad idea. As some one who has given it a try, I can say that you are right. Avoid Google Chrome like the plague.
