LA Times: It had to happen eventually… according to some in the business world, the email is starting to fall out of favor. Apparently people are no longer high on the idea of being perpetually chained to the office by gmail. I think their beef is more with BlackBerry, but I could be wrong. How about instead of gradually phasing out emails, we just remove the “forward” button from everyone’s email program of choice?
Sun-Crimes: No more talking into the clown… McDonalds is going upscale. One of the Mickey D’s here in Buckhead not only has a coffee area with couches, but the dining area even has white table clothes and flowers and all of the tables. Hopefully they’ll be upscale enough that no one will ever find a lizard in their salad.
MediaBistro: Barack Obama’s campaign is going to announce his VP choice via text message. That’s a lot better than John Kerry, who announced his choice by painting it on the side of his airplane. What do you think, is this Obama just embracing technology, or a shameless attempt to pander to people who have the attention span of a text message? OMG ITZ WSLY CLRK!!
