Yesterday Prince Fielder hit his first homerun of the year for the Brewers… In case you hadn’t been paying attention, Fielder became a vegetarian last year after hitting 50 homers. So there were plenty of people just waiting for him to scuffle so they could blame it on his new found love for eggplants. Fraley pointed out that at this point last year he had a grand total of one, so the drought wasn’t really much to write home about.
But it does bring up an interesting question, if you’re the Brewers how long would that power outage have continued before you took Prince to Wendy’s and told him to have a Baconator?
