Weekend links

  • Deibert gives Hillary Clinton some free comedy advice, which I think we all can agree she desperately needs.
  • Speaking of the Clintons, Sean Hackbarth weighs in on the news that since they left office Bill and Hillary have accumulated even more money than Heather Mills did for being married to Paul McCartney for a week.
  • Brian Fraley was on WisOpinion: the show once again, this time talking about the Republicans having a good day in Wisconsin on Tuesday… an election that included the defeat of Mike McGee Jr.
  • Nick Schweitzer has a story about what people in Ohio do with their free time.
  • Ed Morrissey at HotAir points out that Minnesota has all of the wacko protestant laws that Georgia and Alabama do: No Sunday alcohol sales, and no selling cars. That first one should make the GOP convention tons of fun.
  • Keith McDuffee has posted the casting information for Caprica, the long rumored but only recently greenlit Battlestar Galactica spin-off/prequel.
  • Speaking of Battlestar Galactica, the gang has a new video blog up for the new season. They had some visitors to the set… they’re fat, they’re geeky, and of course they met online.
  • Mary Katharine Ham has a new HamNation, where she tries to equal Barack Obama’s pathetic bowling score… it’s pretty tough to be that awful.
  • Have you met Ted? points out that Thursday was Cobie Smulder’s birthday… I find this worth mentioning only because they also point out that Cobie’s full name is Jacoba Fransisca Maria Smulders. Those Canadians and their long names.
