As Hillary Clinton prepares to make her last stand in Wisconsin, Ohio and Texas, I’ve come up with a theory, and I wonder what political consultant to the stars Brian Fraley would have to say about it…
As you may have noticed with just a casual glance at the news, Hillary isn’t doing so well these days in the Democratic presidential primaries and I think I know why.
In his new book Liberal Fascism, Jonah Goldberg points out that Hillary Clinton always campaigns on the idea that there is a crisis and the only solution is for the government to step in and fix it.
Well today we had a perfect example of why that message simply isn’t resonating. Yes, the economy is slowing down a bit, gas prices are too high and Scrubs is in its final season… but I have absolute, undeniable proof that this country is not in fact in any sort of a crisis.
Today the top news story is the fact that Roger Clemens and Brian McNamee were both testifying in front of congress. If there were actually any sort of crisis in the United States, congress would have better things to do than determine whether or not one oft-retired right handed pitcher had used steroids in his career.
Oh and the Senate is also investigating Spygate at the NFL.
It’s hard to buy that the US should be in crisis mode when Roger Clemens in a suit is the top story, and if things are good, Hillary doesn’t stand a chance.

Kudos to the Photoshopper who did that one
Maybe I should spend my $600 handout check on a nice goldfoil hat for Mrs. Clinton
Because tinfoil, obviously, would never be sufficient.
