Last week JAXA released the first high-definition video of the Moon, from their Kaguya spacecraft. The video was pretty amazing, but it only showed the Lunar surface. Now they have released the first high-definition picture of the Earth over the Lunar surface:

Wow, indeed. That is truly awesome. I want a high-res copy of that. It’d make a splendid desktop
